November is upon us, and we are super excited to bring you our first ever male Temptation! After months of promises and searching and missed connections, we finally got someone to commit to being our first ever male model!

We at PDXScene Magazine have always been excited to bring diversity to the magazine, and we’re happy to see this catching on a little bit at a time, and diversity coming to our magazine as well! Getting Miles on board to model for us brings in a bisexual male model, with a side of kink/bdsm, who also delves into ethical casual sex with people as opportunities present themselves.  At the same time, he’s unique with a unique story.  You have to visit the magazine to see it though… its free.. and mobile friendly, so go check it out!

Of course, we visit the local Art Show openings happening around town. A couple of interesting artists at Club Privata and a curated show featuring the artists of Stroll called Arts by Tarts. Take a look at some sample images and read all about their mission and their message in our magazine today!

Our local Arts Expert, Larry Iversen, gives us a preview into a new play going on at the Defunkt Theatre in Portland called “Slipping” its an interesting exploration of a sexual awakening, against of backdrop of conflicting social, and cultural cross-currents. Check out the article and images by visiting our magazine on Joomag!

We realized that by having a column titled Poly-101.. that many people who do not identify as Poly might be passing it by. So we’ve renamed and re-branded it as Love Bites.. because this shit aint always easy..

We revisit an old article written by our good friend over at Making Your Own Bed, Jackie Meldrum… who gives us some tips on getting through the stressful Holiday Parties with friends and family that might just save your bacon this year.

We stopped by and visited the owners at The Velvet Rope to see some of the changes they’ve been making over there. We were impressed, we think you will be as well! You can read all about it in this month’s issue of PDXScene Magazine!

Chrissy Cooper introduces us to some great Scotch Ale’s and talks about the difference between Scotch Ales and Scottish Ales in her story in BrewsNews

Ellie Love gives up her world famous Seafood Chowder recipe, while talking about an annual event they plan for our own Michael Love’s Birthday Party.. don’t tell him… its a secret!
